In the airport terminal, there are passengers coming and going every
day. Some passengers are flying domestic or overseas. Even during special
holidays, there will be a large number of passengers traveling abroad. Due to
the increase in the number of passengers, the amount of luggage It will also
increase. Therefore, in the process of luggage consignment management, coupled
with the huge number of luggage, it will be a big challenge in management.
Because the luggage will eventually be delivered to passengers, in order to
reduce the incidence of errors and thereby improve the efficiency of
consignment management, the introduction of RFID technology is the best choice.
Traditionally, there will be a handwritten Label with the passenger's basic information written on it, and the handwritten Label will be hung on the luggage so that the identity of the owner of the luggage can be known. But now RFID technology can be introduced and RFID Labels can be used to replace handwritten Labels. First, the passenger's basic information is written into the chip, such as the passenger's name, address, phone number and other information. The staff can use a handheld reader to read the Label, and then store the relevant information of the luggage into the back-end system. When reading, it means that the luggage has indeed been sent to the airplane, and the system will also mark "Get on the plane", and then when you arrive at the destination, the staff will read the Label again, and the system will mark "Delivered", indicating that the luggage has arrived at the destination. Through RFID technology and combined with the back-end management system, can truly grasp the movement of each luggage, thereby creating an efficient and safe consignment management process.
